Polaroid PDC 640 Modem Camera
Notes & Features: Has built-in 56Kbps modem. Also available in SmartMedia (PDC 640) and CompactFlash (PDC 640 CF) versions, both without the internal modem. Can upload images directly to PolaroidDigital.com without the need for a PC. Upload feature requires camera registration and an annual fee of $60; camera first dials a toll-free number within the USA and using caller ID, is given a list of local dial-up numbers. Upload time at full resolution is less than one minute per picture; dial-up service is provided by CEIVA. Has 2MB built-in memory and CompactFlash slot. Bundled with PhotoMAX Image Maker software, 4 AA batteries, serial and USB cables, phone cable and carrying pouch. Flash recharges in 10 seconds, shot-shot time listed as 2 seconds. 24-bit color. TWAIN-compliant driver.
