The Fujifilm FinePix S700 is an affordable long-zoom digital camera model, coupling a powerful Fujinon-branded 10x optical zoom lens which can focus down to just 0.4 inches, with a 1/2.5" seven megapixel standard CCD imager that yields a maximum ISO rating of 1600.
Other features of the Fujifilm S700 include dual media slots (Secure Digital / MultiMediaCard and xD-Picture Card), 27MB internal memory, a 0.24" electronic viewfinder with a relatively high 230,000 pixel resolution, and a 2.5" LCD display with the exact same resolution.
There's plenty in the Fuji FinePix S700 to cater to the needs of advanced amateurs looking to gain maximum control over their photos, with P / A / S / M exposure modes, auto / manual focus, eight white balance modes (including a custom hold mode), 12 scene modes and a six-mode popup flash. A 640 x 480 pixel, 30 frames-per-second AVI (motion JPEG) encoded movie mode is also provided.
S700 connectivity includes USB 2.0 (Full Speed) as well as video out (NTSC / PAL switchable). The FinePix S700 derives its power from four AA batteries.
