Pentax Optio P70 Overview
The Pentax Optio P70 is a twelve megapixel ultracompact digital camera that's just 20 millimeters thick, yet squeezes in a 4x optical zoom lens with a useful 27.5mm wide angle. Other features of the Pentax P70 include a 2.7-inch, 230K dot LCD display, ISO sensitivity to 6,400 max., and a 720p high-definition movie recording (although at a rather limited rate of just 15 frames per second).
The Pentax P70 camera includes face recognition that can identify 32 faces in a scene within 0.03 seconds, plus what Pentax calls "Pixel Track" shake reduction, and there's also blink detection and smile capture functions. The Optio P70 draws its power from a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, and uses SD/SDHC media for storage.
