PRESS RELEASE: Loreo introduces ultra-macro digital photography with "Lens and a Lubot" (UPDATED)
Loreo (Asia) Ltd. today introduced the Lens and a Lubot, a combination of the LOREO Lens in a Cap and the award winning LOREO Lubot Loupe.
Invented and patented by Loreo, the Lubot is a pocket-sized, high performance (10X) loupe (magnifying lens). The three-element computer designed aspheric lens is far superior to conventional optical designs. It produces sharp, undistorted magnification across the entire viewing area, permitting prolonged usage without fatigue. The Lubot has a built-in measuring device, and adjustable focus, which helps eyeglass wearers.
The Lens in a Cap is a new accessory for SLR cameras. It consists of a fixed focus pancake-lens in a body cap, which turns any SLR into a point-and-shoot camera, slim enough to pocket, with 35mm focal length and aperture from f/5.6 - f/64. With only two moving parts, it is totally reliable, giving the photographer on the move a lightweight, protective cap for cameras while keeping them ready for quick snapshots.
Inventor Tony Lo put the two together and made the Lens and a Lubot. This cheeky looking device mounts directly onto standard and digital SLR cameras. No other lens attachments are necessary, making it one of the most cost-effective means of taking ultra-macro photographs.
The Lens and a Lubot combination will retail at under US$25.
