PRESS RELEASE: Phase One's New H 10 With 11 Mega-Pixel CCD Makes Its Debut at Photokina 2002

The IR Newsletter!
Photokina 2002, Cologne, Germany, September 25, 2002: Phase One, the world leader in direct digital imaging, announced in July 2002 that its award-winning H 10, formerly called the LightPhase, would now be upgraded to the 11 mega-pixel CCD. Attendees of Photokina 2002 will be the first to see the new H 10 live on the show floor. This state-of-the-art digital back is sure to capture a great deal of attention with its superior image quality and intuitive, user-friendly software.

Phase One H 10 With 11 Mega-Pixel CCD
The new Phase One H 10 produces 32MB image files with its 4,056k x 2,684k CCD and is able to capture an image every 1.8 seconds to ensure a highly productive workflow. For optimum versatility, this camera back also offers an ISO range of 50-400. The H 10 is available for a wide range of medium format cameras including most Hasselblad cameras, the Mamiya 645AF, Mamiya 645AFD, and the Contax 645. With Phase One's unique FlexAdaptor, it can also be used on large format cameras. The new H 10 is the ideal choice for professional photographers who need versatility, dependability, and unmatched image quality.

Phase One CEO, Henrik Håkonsson remarks: "We upgraded the CCD of the H 10 so that our customers can benefit from the latest in sensor technology without any further cost. In order to protect our customers' investments, we are automatically upgrading all of our H 10 users (excluding LightPhase units) to the new H 10 until its ship date of November 1st. We are sure that our users will be amazed by the image quality of this new back. We have tested our 11 mega-pixel back against the competition's 16 mega-pixel digital backs and the results clearly showed that the H 10 produces much less noise and superior image quality."

The Phase One H 10 with 11 mega-pixel CCD starts shipping November 1, 2002. To learn more about Phase One's products, visit the Phase One web site at www.phaseone.com.
