Casio will tomorrow unveil at the PMA show a new digital camera, the QV-3500EX Plus, and we're proud to bring you the story a day early! Featuring a 3.34 megapixel CCD, 3x optical zoom and Type-II CompactFlash storage, the camera will come bundled with a 340MB Microdrive. The camera offers a range of shooting modes from full auto to manual, as well as a 'Best Shot' mode which offers a choice of 28 presets for situations such as 'Night' and 'Fireworks' photography. Modes are selected by scrolling through captioned demonstration images that demonstrate what sort of photo they're intended for. Other features include a playback histogram, in-camera image downsampling and the ability to customise camera buttons.
