The company's only new announcement for PMA is the development of an smc Pentax DA 50 - 200mm F4 - 5.6 ED lens, shown under glass as a prototype on the booth. Pricing and availability for that lens have not been announced at this time. Other recent products shown in our report include the *ist DS consumer digital SLR, which began shipping at the end of last year, as well as the Optio WP waterproof camera debuted at the CES show.

A number of new announcements were made in the last week or so, and as such are included in our PMA report - but the products themselves aren't planned to ship in the US, and hence the cameras are not on show at PMA. These include a silver variant of the *ist DS, as well as the Optio S5n and Optio 50 digital cameras. Since those products aren't being shown here, they're obviously not included in this report.
