Canon has today announced its latest EOS-series digital SLR, the Canon EOS-1D Mark III.

The Canon 1D Mark III has an APS-H sized 10.1 megapixel image sensor, 10 frames-per-second burst shooting to 30 RAW or 110 JPEG (Large, compression level 8) frames, ISO sensitivity from 100 to 3200, and the ability to extend this to ISO 6400.

Rather than duplicating resources on news coverage and a preview, we're currently posting all information we have in an in-depth preview of the Canon 1D Mk III, and will be continuing to post updates throughout this evening and the early hours of this morning.

Keep checking our Canon EOS 1D Mk III page for this developing story!
