Samsung booth report now live

20:58 EDT - Leading up to this year's Photo Marketing Association tradeshow, Korean company Samsung announced two new digital cameras.

Shortly before, Samsung had taken the wraps off a further six digital cameras at the Consumer Electronics Show, for a total of eight new models so far this year. We took a look at the company's booth and saw these, plus an interesting digicam-friendly GPS unit hooked into the popular Google Earth application. Kodak booth report posted

20:52 EDT - Eastman Kodak Co. occupied its usual spot right down the aisle in front of the main Photo Marketing Association tradeshow entrance.

The company's booth was as big as ever, and packed with everything from compact digital cameras aimed at entry-level consumers, right the way up to huge color printing presses. With four new digital camera announcements at PMA, and a couple more at the recent Consumer Electronics Show, Kodak might not have had the most new digicams on offer but there was still plenty to keep booth visitors interested.... Sigma booth report now online

18:05 EDT - The products on Sigma's booth at PMA this year really stood out from the crowd.

The company continues to be the only one to ship digital SLRs featuring Foveon's uniquely designed image sensors, and the compact DP1 camera (first announced at Photokina, and based on the same sensor as the SD14 DSLR) is looking a lot closer to reaching the market as well. Casio booth report posted

15:49 EDT - We've now posted a report on the booth of Casio Computer Co. Ltd., in a continuation of our extensive tour of this year's Photo Marketing Association tradeshow.

Casio had a range of camera models on display, including both of the company's new digital camera announcements for this show - the Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z1050 and EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z75. Also on show was the Casio EXILIM Hi-ZOOM EX-V7, announced at CES. Fujifilm booth report posted!

01:03 EST - Next on our list of booth reports is Fujifilm, located right across the aisle from Canon at the show entrance.

As you'd expect, Fuji's is among the larger booths at the show, and the company has a lot of products on display. Fuji also received two DIMA awards, with its IS-1 Digital Camera winning the DIMA Innovative Digital Product Award, and its ASK-4000 Digital Photo Printer taking a DIMA Digital Printer Shoot-Out Award in the Dye Sublimation category.
