(Thursday, February 7, 2008 - 15:30 EST)

A year ago, General Imaging Co. made its debut at the Photo Marketing Association tradeshow, announcing eight digital cameras and one printer to be retailed under the General Electric brandname.

A year later, and General Imaging has launched nine new cameras, although only eight were actually on display at the company's PMA 2008 booth. All of the new models are closely related to existing GE-branded digicams, but with some tweaks to the specifications (and some new features for the 2008 model year, such as smile / blink detection). To see what's new since last year, read our General Imaging booth report !
