FLASH! First Canon EOS-1D sample photos online! (UPDATED)

We got our test unit of the EOS-1D, Dave went out to play...
It's going to take a good week or more to really delve into all the capabilities and features of the EOS-1D, but knowing how eager people are to see sample pictures from it, Dave went out today and shot some random subjects, in addition to some of our standard test targets. The results are posted in a sample pictures page. (allow a goodly time for the page to load though, there's about 50 largish thumbnails there.
UPDATED 2001-10-02 18:19ET: As described in another news item, our sample images have been temporarily withdrawn due to a bug in the firmware of our prototype camera. Stay tuned for more samples as soon as we receive updated images available!
