Three FinePix digicams get a $200 price-cut in the lead-up to the holiday season...

Fuji Photo Film USA Inc. has today announced price cuts for three of its Finepix digital camera models. Effective immediately, the FinePix 4800Z, 6800Z and 6900Z will all have recommended prices some $200 lower than they previously listed at. The new pricing is as follows (along with the percentage price drop):

Elmsford, NY, October 1, 2001 – Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital camera innovation and design, today announced a $200 price reduction for its FinePix 4800 Zoom, FinePix 6800 Zoom and FinePix 6900 Zoom digital cameras, dropping prices for these high-end consumer and advanced amateur models to $499, $699 and $799, respectively. All three cameras use Fujifilm’s award-winning1 Super CCD sensor and High Definition Color technologies for rich, bright colors and sharp, detailed digital pictures.
