New KD-210Z is almost identical hardware-wise, but has some tweaks to the software improving performance...

Konica Japan has announced a new digital camera replacing its existing KD-200Z model which was first announced in May of last year, our friends at Japanese website digitalcamera.jp report.

The Konica KD-210Z is a quite minor update, improving color management, extending the length of movies from 15 to 60 seconds, improving start-up time from 3 to 2 seconds, and increasing digital zoom from 2.0 to 2.5x max. The camera also now comes in two colors - dark blue and gold - where as far as we're aware the previous version sold only in silver. Most specifications such as size, weight, resolution, lens, and battery performance remain identical to the previous model.
