Added chapters in the popular eBook from Peter iNova offer insights into the Coolpix 4500 and Coolpix 5700 cameras...

Peter iNova, the man behind the highly recommended eBook 'Mastering Nikon Compact Digital Cameras', has been in touch to let us know that he's released a new version which adds updates covering the Nikon Coolpix 4500 and 5700 digital cameras. Version 5.0 of the eBook, now a whopping 451 pages long and including more than a thousand images, diagrams, and tables, adds a total of 290 new 'InfoBites' - "noteworthy camera or technique-specific factoids" - for the two cameras, on top of the hundreds already in the previous version!

Compatible with both Macintosh and Windows systems, the eBook also includes literally hundreds of Photoshop 5, 5.5 and 6.0 filters. All of this, and the price remains a very reasonable $49.95, a figure you'd easily equal with just a handful of digicam accessories... For even better value, if you order through our website, you'll get free USPS shipping for a savings of $6 off the standard price!

Just how good are Peter's eBooks? Our very own Editor, Dave Etchells, has described them as "the best tutorial material I've seen in any medium on any subject. Yes, it really *is* that good!"

Order a copy of the eBook for yourself and give yourself a little time to read it - you'll learn how to get better pictures more often, and help support this site at the same time. A true win-win situation, if ever we saw one! :)

Original Source Press Release:

Nikon eBook Version 5 Released

Version 5.0 of Mastering Nikon Compact Digital Cameras by Peter iNova has been released. This new version upgrades the best selling Nikon eBook with two new chapters covering the sleek and capable Coolpix 4500 and the powerful Coolpix 5700.

With these two added chapters, the eBook grows to 451 pages with over 1200 photographs, illustrations and tables covering digital photography as encountered by the top Nikon compact digital cameras. Other chapters document digital camera principles, photographic myths and superstitions, Photoshop in seven lessons, a 22-step photographic self-teaching course, digital printing, digital special effects, a deep "How Do I..." section, vexing FAQs and operation of the more than 300 original iNovaFX Photoshop Action Filters that are included in the package.

The Nikon eBook is a Best Seller among photography books and comes on CD for Macintosh and Windows computers. It includes well over 300 original iNovaFX Photoshop Actions that repair, enhance and widen the scope of Nikon digital images. New in Version 5.0 are the iCrosstar series that add tunable cross star effects to existing images, and the iGrad series that add soft-edge gradation filter effects in your digital darkroom.

"Nikon has evolved in significant ways," said author iNova, "and the eBook has tried to keep pace. These cameras enter one's life as unknown entities full of secrets and mysteries. I hope the eBook helps people domesticate them without losing sight of their surprising depth and natural abilities."

The chapter on the camera operation of the CP4500 adds 38 new pages and the chapter on the CP5700 adds 44 more. Among the two new chapters over 290 new "InfoBites" (noteworthy camera or technique-specific factoids) make their appearance.

Mastering Nikon Compact Digital Cameras is available from Amazon.Com, B&H Photo Video or direct online. They can also be ordered in a special arrangement with Imaging Resource that saves customers the US First Class shipping costs and shares the profits to help support this site. $49.95.
