Japanese site posts DCS Pro 14n samples

The Japanese Illusion Inc. website has posted a number of new sample photos from a development model of Kodak's upcoming DCS Pro 14n digital camera.

The images, apparently taken by photographer Hironobu Mochizuki, show off the camera better than the images we've seen thus far. There's a direct comparison with the Canon EOS-1Ds for some of the photos (or at least, as direct as differences in resolution and lenses allow). There are still some problems in the images as you would expect from a prototype camera - the I-Inc site actually cautions readers not to judge color gradation or noise at this time - but they're starting to show off the capabilities of the Pro 14n in the hands of a pro.

You can find an index with six Pro 14n samples here, alongside three EOS-1Ds samples. (Note that this server is *very* slow to respond at the time of this writing). There's also another page here with comparisons of the mask images from 8 cameras, yet another page with res-charts from 11 cameras, and several of the images are also mirrored here.
