An interesting news item from Reuters caught our eye this evening for a mention of a stunning photo captured with Kodak's DCS 760 digital camera.

The Reuters item details an image of London at night with minimal cloud cover, captured by astronauts on the International Space Station on February 4th. As noted by Reuters, numerous features of London and smaller towns around it can be easily discerned, at least if you're familiar with the city and surrounding area.

Amongst other features, you can make out both airports (Heathrow and Gatwick), the M25 Orbital, the Thames and its estuary, Hyde and Richmond Parks, Canary Wharf and a number of smaller towns...

The image was captured with a Kodak DCS 760 digital camera. That model has been discontinued, and was a 6 megapixel camera based on Nikon's F5 film camera.
