Minolta's DiMAGE Xt digital camera. Courtesy of Minolta, with modifications by Michael R. Tomkins. Review posted for Minolta DiMAGE Xt!

Since the first DiMAGE "X" camera, the design has been one of my favorite subcompact digicam models.

They snap good-looking photos, and are one of the ultimate "take anywhere" digicams. (In our own family, our DiMAGE Xi is always the digicam my teenaged boys vie over to see who gets to bring it on any trips or outings we're going on.)

Minolta has updated the design with a significant revamp to the user interface, a slight trimming of its dimensions, and what looks to my eye like yet another slight increment in color rendering and general image quality. All in all, a great little subcompact camera, definitely deserving of consideration if you're looking for a camera that won't get left behind. Check it out!
