ONTARIO, CA (January 14, 2004) -- SOYO® Group, Inc. (OTCBB: SOYO) has introduced a pair of internal multi-format smart media reader/writers for home and SOHO multimedia users that read/write to all of today's popular multimedia formats including MP3.

SOYO's BayOne® XP and BayOne® DV 9-in-1 combination smart media reader/writers expand any system for multimedia use and high-speed connectivity. Both products enable users to connect multiple devices to a computer and download digital photos, video, MP3 music or hot-sync a hand held device at the same time. With SOYO's new BayOne devices there's no reaching behind your system to make connections.

These smart media reader/writers conveniently fit into the front of your PC and feature a combination reader/writer for Smart Media (3.3V ), Secure Digital, MultiMedia, Sony Memory Stick, Sony Memory Stick Pro, Compact Flash (both Type I & II), IBM Microdrive, plus a bonus slot for the next generation of SDT.

The SOYO BayOne XPT features a high-speed USB 2.0 port with backward compatibility to USB 1.1, which upgrades a motherboard to the USB 2.0 interface. The SOYO BayOne DV adds an IEEE 1394 Firewire connection. Both come with a 5�" extension rack for large bays, black and silver front panels, and appropriate cables and guides. They are universally compatible with all systems and external devices and can be installed in minutes.
