Tomkins, The Imaging Resource (Tuesday, April 6, 2004 - 13:34 EDT) Canon Japan has posted a firmware updated for its EOS-1Ds digital SLR on its Japanese BeBit website. The Canon EOS-1Ds Firmware Update Version 1.0.3 corrects only one issue, that being related to problems with cards of 2GB or greater capacity being recognized as having less than their full capacity available. The firmware is upgraded by copying the relevant files to a CompactFlash card, and inserting the card in the camera while on mains power or using a fully-charged NP-E3 battery pack.
