EOS 20D: firmware for wireless transmitter By
Michael R. Tomkins, The Imaging Resource (Thursday, April 21, 2005 - 10:16 EDT)Canon USA has released a new version of firmware for its EOS 20D digital SLR that adds support for the WFT-E1 wireless file transmitter.
The EOS 20D firmware version 2.0.0 is available for download from Canon USA's website, and is applicable for cameras with firmware versions up to 1.1.0 installed.
The WFT-E1 wireless file transmitter was announced last September alongside the EOS-1Ds Mark II digital SLR. The new EOS 20D firmware completes Canon's pledge at that time to release firmware for the EOS-1D Mark II and EOS 20D cameras to add compatibility for the device; the 1D Mark II has supported the WFT-E1 since firmware version 1.1.0, which was released last year.
