Knowing how intense the interest would be (and how fleeting sunshine is here this time of year), I hustled out yesterday to snap a few pics with our eval sample of the new Nikon D70S. We also shot some of our standard test subjects (including the long-suffering Marti), so readers would be able to compare images from the D70S to those from other cameras, under controlled lighting and exposure conditions.
The results aren't too surprising, the D70S' images are a lot like those from the original D70, although I haven't yet performed a close analysis.
