Adobe Camera Raw 3.1 available By
Michael R. Tomkins, The Imaging Resource (Thursday, May 5, 2005 - 11:31 EDT)News swiftly pointed out to us today by IR reader and regular correspondant Peter Burian notes that Adobe has now placed its new Camera Raw version 3.1 for download on the Adobe FTP server.
According to the original source, an article on Rob Galbraith's Digital Photography Insights website, Camera Raw 3.1 for Photoshop CS2 now supports both the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT / 350D and Nikon D2X digital SLRs. Rob notes (courtesy of Peter, again) that the release may also work with Adobe's Photoshop Elements 3.0.
The release is available for both Windows and Macintosh computers. On Windows, the software should be installed in the \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-ins\CS2\File Formats\ directory, while for Macs the software should be located in /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/CS2/File Formats/ to be recognized by CS2 and the Bridge browser.
