Mike Pasini, The Imaging Resource (Friday, June 17, 2005 - 12:22 EDT)The file size limit for images has been bumped up, you can swap album links with your cohorts, straighten a horizon, get site traffic reports and grab the first frame of a QuickTime movie for the album preview.
Phanfare CEO Andrew Erlichson announced that the company has updated Phanfare Photo, the image organizer front-end to its online sharing service. Members are automatically updated to the new version when they run the application.
We found Phanfare to be one of the smoother experiences in online sharing when we reviewed the service recently. The company has continued to improve the service since then with a series of recent enhancements.
The latest improvements include:
Increased the image file size limit from 6 to 10 megabytes.
New Phriends and Family option for Phanfare albums. You can swap links with friends and family so that you mutually list each other's albums on your Phanfare table of contents page and trust each other's viewers to enter without password.
