Canon Updates EOS-1D Mark II N and EOS 5D Firmware By

Canon has released firmware updates for the EOS-1D Mark IIN and the EOS 5D to improve the brightness of the LCD monitor and fix typos in some Menu displays. The EOS-1D update also fixes a file numbering error during Bulb shooting while the EOS 5D update also fixes a large image file creation problem and an Auto Exposure Bracketing bug.
Fixes the phenomenon of sequential file numbers not being maintained when shooting with sequential numbers in Bulb mode and then changing the CompactFlash card with the camera powered on.
Improves the brightness of the LCD monitor, making it easier to check images outdoors.
Mistakes in some of the Russian-language displays have been fixed.
Fixes the phenomenon of large image files (1.7GB) being created when vertical images are taken with the Auto Image Rotation setting set to ON.

When shooting with the self-timer and AEB set to an exposure time of more than one second, the camera's operation became abnormal after the first shot, but this has been fixed.
There were mistakes in some of the Swedish-language displays; these have been fixed.
