A report today on technology website Engadget suggests that Canon will soon end sales of its EOS 20Da digital SLR.

A little more than a year after it was first announced in Japan, notes have appeared on the company's Japanese website indicating that it will stop accepting orders from April 21st, 2006. There doesn't seem to be any official announcement, nor is any reason given for the move. We've also yet to hear anything on the matter from Canon's US or European branches.

Canon Japan's site further notes that it will take three months after orders are received for cameras to ship, so the last EOS 20Da cameras should be received in Japan around late July.
