Leica launches two new promotions

Leica Camera AG has announced two new promotions that could help its North American customers save some money on R- and M-system products.
Photographers purchasing any new Leica M lens in the months of October through December 2006 will receive 2 vouchers worth $125 towards the addition of a 6-bit code to existing M lenses (making them suitable for use with the M8 digital rangefinder).
Meanwhile, for an unspecified "limited time" Leica will also offer a savings on the R-system. Customers purchasing either a Leica R9 or Digital-Modul-R outfit will receive a discount of $500 on their purchase.
Both promotions are available only from authorized Leica dealers in the US and Canada. More details can be found on Leica's website.
