Dave Etchells, The Imaging Resource (Tuesday, November 14, 2006 - 12:30 EST)Heading into the Holidays (and extending a bit beyond), we're pleased to announce a sweepstakes for everyone posting user reviews to SLRgear.com!
While most people visit SLRgear.com for our unique lens test reports, a major feature of the site is user reports, written by people like you.
To both encourage new postings and reward those who've already shared their gear experiences, we're happy to announce the Great SLRgear DSLR Giveaway!
The way it works is simple: Just register as a user on SLRgear (if you haven't already), and submit user reviews on photo gear you own or have had experience with. It doesn't matter what kind of gear you're reviewing, there are listings for 975(!) different products over there, including lenses, teleconverters, bags, tripods and monopods, tripod heads, DSLRs, and strobes. Every time you write a review between now and January 15, 2007, your name gets dropped into a hat. After the sweepstakes closes, we'll reach into the hat and draw the name of one lucky winner. If the winner is outside the US, they'll receive $1,700 cash by wire transfer to their bank account. US residents can choose to receive either the cash or their choice of a Nikon D200 or Canon 30D camera system, including a nice lens.

If you haven't already registered as a user on SLRgear, you'll need to do so in order to post reviews. Just go to the registration page, and enter a username and password. You'll get an email in a few minutes with a confirmation link in it. Click on that link, and your account is activated! (And be assured that we'll never give your email address to any other party!)
