Wanted - A POTD for Christmas! By
Dave Etchells, The Imaging Resource (Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - 21:01 EST)While we don't want to skew the submitted photos *entirely* toward the holiday season, we'd like to find one definitive photo to put up as the Photo of the Day for Christmas Day.
We've seen a few holiday-themed photos come through the POTD inbox (as witness the lovely shot by Elizabeth Johns, showcased today (Tuesday) and a whimsical one from Lana Arcemont coming up on the 15th), but haven't yet seen the definitive photo we'd like to put up on Christmas Day itself. Do you have the ultimate photo that says "Christmas"? Submit it ASAP, we'll leave the selection for 12/25 unchosen until Friday morning 12/22, to give you time to dig through your hard drive or pick up the living room and snap a photo of this year's ultimate tree.
In the process though, don't forget to also submit one of your very best photos taken at any time of the year: The monthly competition is pretty tough, but you never know: That Canon EOS-30D and i9900 printer setup could have your name on it! We only need one "Christmas" photo, but are still looking for other great images to round out the month!
