Digital Photography Show talks 1D Mark III
By
(Tuesday, March 20, 2007 - 15:00 EDT)

The folks over at the Digital Photography Show have posted an interesting new podcast containing, amongst other things, a lengthy chat with Canon at the recent PMA show.

The full podcast, hosted by Scott Sherman and Michael Stein, is a whopping 53 minutes long and covers several topics, but we have a feeling of most interest to our readers will be a lengthy interview with Canon's Rudy Winston on the new EOS 1D Mark III digital SLR.

Starting a little over twenty minutes into the podcast, Rudy's interview includes interesting details on the camera's live view mode, uprated AF system, and why Canon has opted for lens-based rather than body-based image stabilisation. As well as a full ten minutes on the Mark III, there's a further five minutes of info on Canon's PowerShot camera lineup.

Hop on over to the Digital Photography Show for the full story!
