PRESS RELEASE: Husband and Wife Team Share Their Perspective on Wedding Photography at 'Look Who's Using Kingston'

Microsite Shares Ways Photographers Use Kingston Flash Memory; Wedding Artists Jim and Lara Davis-Hicks Featured

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. -- March 26, 2007 -- Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced that the husband and wife wedding photography team of Jim and Lara Davis-Hicks of Davis Photography will be featured on Kingston's "Look Who's Using Kingston" microsite. The microsite will also soon give consumers and photographers around the world an opportunity to share their unique photographic experiences and explain how Kingston Flash memory cards play a role in their creative imaging process.

Jim and Lara Davis-Hicks founded Davis Photography in 2001 with the goal of providing their clients with unique and memorable images of the most important day of their lives. The secret to their success is really no secret at all. "Shooting a wedding is an intimate and personal thing. Because of that we need to make a connection with the bride and groom and earn their trust to really create the photographs we want for them," states Lara, noting that this connection is essential to the success of any photographer.

Jim agrees, with Lara adding, "Aside from establishing this rapport, we need complete confidence in the equipment we use. Knowing our cameras and Kingston CompactFlash Ultimate cards will perform flawlessly allows us to dedicate our time to the client -- to build a relationship that becomes evident in the images we take. The speed of Kingston's CompactFlash Ultimate cards allows us to capture those special once in a lifetime moments."

"The 'Look Who's Using Kingston' microsite was created to give customers an opportunity to share some of the unique images they are creating with Kingston memory," said Jaja Lin, Flash marketing manager, Kingston. "It's also designed to be a source of inspiration and allow customers like Jim and Lara to share their experiences and know-how with others."

Bruce Vartan Boyajian, official photographer for the Miss America Pageant, gave Kingston Web site visitors a unique behind-the-scenes look at the contestants as the microsite's first featured photographer in January.
