Taiwanese digicam makers record year-on-year growth

A news article posted on Taiwan's DigiTimes Systems website reports that three of the top four Taiwanese ODM / OEM vendors of digital cameras have recorded year-on-year growth in their revenues for June 2007.
According to the article, Asia Optical saw the biggest gains with a 41% jump over June 2006, recording consolidated revenues of 3.2 billion New Taiwan dollars (NTD) in June 2007. Altek almost matched this gain with a rise of 40.2%, setting June 2007 revenues of 1.504 billion NTD. Ability Enterprise recorded 2.333 billion NTD revenues, a 27.3% jump year on year.
