Nikon publishes D3 samples (Download here!) (UPDATED) By

Tomkins, The Imaging Resource (Friday, September 28, 2007 - 13:09 EDT)Nikon USA has today released six sample images shot under a range of conditions with its upcoming D3 professional digital SLR. Nikon's server groaned under the load, so we're re-hosting them here, with Nikon's permission.
The images are shot by three photographers - Dave Black, Mike Corrado, and Joe McNally - and range from a minimum of ISO 200 through to a maximum of ISO 6400. All but one were shot as JPEG files, with the remaining image having been shot in Raw format and then converted to JPEG.
Note that each image is extremely large, and hence we recommend right-clicking and saving the image to your computer before viewing, rather than attempting to view them in your web browser. In all cases, please also note that Nikon retains all usage rights to these images, which are for personal use only and may not be republished without permission.
