Microtek M1 Diary Updated! By
Mike Pasini, The Imaging Resource (Monday, December 17, 2007 - 14:30 EST)In our rush to document the arrival and setup of Microtek's M1 flatbed film scanner, we neglected to mention a few things.
We've rectified that today. The expanded Installation Diary includes a list of features, the specifications, system requirements and complete contents for the M1.
We've also made a clearer distinction between the basic M1 package and the M1 Pro package we're reviewing. The Pro package includes a second set of film holders and the full SilverFast Ai Studio with automated calibration using bar-coded IT8 targets. IT8 targets are included in the basic M1 package.
We've also asked Microtek specifically about infrared scanning on the M1.
