New Solution Brings Together a Custom Web site with a Custom Developed Promotional Video Resulting in an Engaging Online Experience

SAN FRANCISCO -- Jan. 23 -- liveBooks, Inc. the leading provider of customized portfolio Web sites and marketing software for professional photographers, announces the launch of Luminance, a new online solution that for the first time, combines a personalized Web site created by liveBooks with a custom promotional video that is professionally-produced by Cinematic Studios, Inc. This unique combination creates a rich online experience that enables photographers to build an emotional connection with potential clients while differentiating themselves from their competition.

Luminance offers professional photographers a cost-effective way to create a branded, multimedia presence online that can integrate into a photographer's existing web presence or as a standalone site. The Luminance package brings together two primary components:

1) A custom liveBooks Flash Web site with:

• design time from the liveBooks in-house design team

• one portfolio of up to 64 images

• one uploadable contact page designed by the photographer

• one promotional Video page created by liveBooks, which includes the promo video and links to outtakes and optional downloads of video in QuickTime and iPod formats

2) Custom Promotional Video(s)* produced and edited by Cinematic Studios

• one 3 to 4 minute video

• one or more out-take videos

* All videos are formatted to play on the photographer's site in a Flash version, with QuickTime and iPod-compatible versions available as downloads from the site.

Availability and Pricing

Luminance is available for immediate purchase through liveBooks by calling (800) 253-2085. Two product options are available, depending upon which video option the photographer selects. With Luminance On Location, a custom Cinematic Signature video is shot on location with the photographer as they work with one of their clients. With Luminance In Studio, a custom Cinematic Expose video is shot while the photographer is seated at a single location such as their studio. In either case, the result is a professionally produced and directed video that integrates the photographer and their work.

Both versions include a liveBooks Web site that is exclusive to the Luminance package, consisting of: one Homepage, one Contact page and one portfolio that allows up to 64 images.

• Luminance On Location: $2,900 one-time fee, $90 annual hosting fee

• Luminance In Studio: $2,100 one-time fee, $90 annual hosting fee

Current liveBooks clients can simply add one of the two custom promotional video add-ons to their existing site. They will receive a new Web page and the production and delivery of their video. This new Web page can live within their existing Web site or become their new homepage.

Current liveBooks Owners

• On Location Video (Add-on): $2,500 one-time fee, annual hosting fee per existing contract

• In Studio Video (Add-on): $1,700 one-time fee, annual hosting fee per existing contract

Note: Pricing reflects the cost for video creation within one of the current "local" network of cities and is based on the recommended hours of shooting. This does not include travel outside this network or extra hours although both are available for additional fees.

Custom Promotional Videos are currently available at standard pricing from within the "local" network of cities which include; Tempe, Ariz.; Phoenix, Ariz.; San Francisco bay area; Los Angeles; San Diego; Denver; Tampa, Fla.; Chicago; New Orleans; New York; Portland; Philadelphia; Seattle. Videos can be arranged in other locations but a travel fee will need to be added to the pricing.
