Olympus advises of possible lens issues By

The Olympus ZUIKO Digital ED 12-60mm F2.8-4.0 SWD lenses in question may be identified by their serial numbers, ranging from 230005416 to 230010688. Certain lenses in this serial number range have apparently been identified as suffering from reduced autofocusing performance.
If you have one of the lenses in question and have suffered from AF problems, you'll find instructions on how to proceed in obtaining free inspection and repair on Olympus' website.
