Review: Canon 200mm f/2L IS USM
By Andrew Alexander, The Imaging Resource

Our latest lens review is the Canon 200mm f/2L IS USM. The Canon 200mm f/2L IS USM is a replacement to the legendary 200mm f/1.8L, incorporating more and better glass elements, image stabilization and a lighter package.

When Canon announced in 2003 that they were discontinuing the 200mm f/1.8L, you could practically hear the intake of breath of the legions of sports and wedding photographers that relied on the combination of focal length and aperture speed to get otherwise unobtainable shots. Five years later, Canon announced the replacement for the legendary lens: the Canon 200mm f/2L IS USM. Click here for our review of this fantastic lens.
