PRESS RELEASE: YouSendIt Launches New File Delivery Capabilities for Mac Users
New technology from YouSendIt allows Mac users to send files directly from Apple Final Cut Pro and Apple iPhoto applications
CAMPBELL, Calif. -- July 30, 2008 -- YouSendIt, Inc., the trusted global leader in digital content delivery, today announced the availability of plug-ins for Apple Final Cut Pro and Apple iPhoto. The new technology will allow professionals and consumers, who use these Mac programs for managing and editing digital photos or videos to send their files to recipients directly from iPhoto and Final Cut Pro.
With these YouSendIt plug-ins, available for MAC OS X version 10.4.9 or later, Mac users including photographers, graphic designers and video production professionals, will be able to upload their files 25 percent faster than by using the YouSendIt Web site. Both plug-ins also allow users to add multiple files and folders of any type to the same upload batch and offer the protection on resumable upload. Should an Internet connection be momentarily lost during file upload, activity will resume automatically once the connection has been restored.
The Final Cut Pro and iPhoto plug-ins include a variety of other rich YouSendIt features like password protection for files, certified delivery and control of file expiration dates. Individuals who install the YouSendIt plug-ins for iPhoto and Final Cut Pro gain access to convenient drag-and-drop editing and right-click sending options with photos and videos in any format.
