PRESS RELEASE: Vertical Hand Grip for Mamiya 645AFD III


Cologne, Germany – September 17, 2008 – A vertical grip for the Mamiya 645AFDIII medium format camera has been announced by Mamiya at the 2008 Photokina. The grip, designed for the 645AFD III, features a shutter release button, release mode selector (single or continuous), and Auto Exposure Lock (AEL) and Autofocus lock (AF) buttons all for comfort, convenience and quick handling when shooting vertically. Two rotary dials for control of the aperture and shutter speed are conveniently placed near the shutter release dial, for total control while working vertically.

The grip, which powers the 645AFD III camera, can use AA alkaline or rechargeable nickel metal hydride batteries. Remaining battery power of the grip can be displayed on the 645AFD III’s LCD panel.
