PRESS RELEASE: LifePics and RitzPix.com Launch RitzPix PhotoSync, an Auto-Syncing Software Application that Eliminates Manual Uploads of Photos to Online Accounts, and Spark Zooms, "Sharing in Motion"

October 15th, 2008, BOULDER, Colo. - LifePics and RitzPix.com today announced the launch of RitzPix PhotoSync, an innovative new software application that automatically synchronizes and uploads images on anyone's computer to their online photo account at RitzPix.com. LifePics developed the ground-breaking software, which eliminates the need for manual image uploads - an industry-wide obstacle for all online imaging sites - and is certain to drive more orders through RitzPix.com's online imaging service, hosted by LifePics.

The manual upload procedure has always been a significant barrier across all online imaging sites for consumers who are deterred from placing orders because they are unsure or uncomfortable with the upload process. RitzPix PhotoSync removes the upload barrier for RitzPix.com customers. RitzPix PhotoSync also gives consumers the security of backing up all of their images online at RitzPix.com for free, so the images are safe from hard drive failures, theft, viruses, human error, or damage from natural disasters.

RitzPix.com and LifePics also recently launched Spark Zooms, a popular new sharing feature on RitzPix.com, developed and launched by LifePics. Spark Zooms allow RitzPix.com users to combine their photos with music, videos, text, and more. The user can then share their Spark Zoom with anyone around the world, attracting new users to RitzPix.com through social networking and viral marketing techniques. Spark Zooms are described on RitzPix.com as "Sharing in Motion."

RitzPix.com is the first national retail photo site to offer 1-hour service for assorted sizes and styles of personalized photo books with dual side printing, as well as 1-hour service for folding photo cards and photo calendars. LifePics enabled RitzPix.com with the 1-hour service ability in 2007 and later announced a dramatic increase in online-to-retail transactions.

The auto-syncing upload software (which LifePics calls "LifeSync") and Spark are available as part of the LifePics online retail solution. LifeSync is part of LifePics' Image Management Software Suite, which also includes LifeView, a CD viewer with editing tools and other creative features that connects directly to the retailer's shopping cart. LifePics plans to release additional image management software applications in the future.
