SP24PC and SP35PC Frames Display Photos, Time, and Date Using Touch-Sensitive Controls

Las Vegas (January 8, 2009) –Smartparts, Inc., a leading manufacturer and innovator driving the explosive digital picture frame market, is proud to announce two new ultra-slim touch-sensitive digital picture viewers -- the 2.4 inch SP24PC and 3.5 inch SP35PC.  Both the SP24PC and SP35PC feature touch-sensitive LCD displays and pack a host of features in a compact and stylish package that will give consumers the ability to enjoy their favorite digital images on-the-go.

Straight out of the box, users can immediately display their favorite images on the SP24PC and SP35PC by simply connecting the frames to their computers via a USB cable. Both products are fully compatible with Windows 98/ME/XP/2000/Vista and MAC systems. The SP24PC’s internal memory holds up to 50 images and the SP35PC’s internal memory holds up to 100 images. For added convenience and true mobility, the two pocket sized frames feature an internal rechargeable battery that’s automatically charged by connecting the frame to a computer using the supplied USB cable.

The SP24PC’s and SP35PC’s touch-sensitive controls truly make the digital picture viewers stand out from the crowd.  Consumers can use the touch-sensitive panel to manually control a photo slideshow that can run up to three hours at an impressive 320x240 resolution.

“We developed the SP24PC and SP35PC to not only meet consumers’ need to take their pictures on-the-go, but also provide additional useful features such as the date and time display and alarm function,” said Stefan Guelpen, president and co-founder of Smartparts. “The incorporation of touch-sensitive functionality furthers the SP24PC’s and SP35PC’s ease-of-use and underscores Smartparts’ commitment to continual product innovation.”

The credit-card sized SP24PC and SP35PC along with a USB cable and a micro-fiber carrying pouch will be available in March 2009 at an MSRP of $29.99 for the SP24PC and an MSRP of $39.99 for the SP35PC.  For additional information, please visit www.smartpartsproducts.com
