June 3, 2009 – Chicago, IL – This year’s CineGear expo will be groundbreaking for Zacuto while they exhibit 30 recently released products. The newest items to be showcased are the innovative light weight DSLR Gunstock Shooters which are part of the new line of Gorilla Kits. These created specifically for “on-the-go”, “run’n’gun”, “gorilla shooters and are sure to be a huge hit with the CineGear crowd.

“We have exhibited at CineGear for the past few years and I know these Gorilla Kits are really going to stand out,” explained Steve Weiss, Director & Zacuto product designer. “Guys have been telling us that they wanted a super lightweight, affordable, adjustable system when not using rods for a follow focus or matte box.  This is the next level of light weight gear and every camera operator will want to try this”.

Unique in concept, Cine Gear Expo offers the opportunity to get hands-on technical training, gain new skills, hear breaking industry news and network with peers and industry leaders.  Zacuto will be joined in booth 171 by representatives from Switronix, Letus35 and Cinemek. These growing collaborations help to bring the best concepts directly to those in the film industry.

Zacuto will have on display a new prototype of the Z-finder Version 2. The Z-finder V2 has many improvements over Version 1 including a snap fit mount and two other mounting options.

In addition to the new Gorrilla Kits and Z-finder prototype, Zacuto will have its whole line including the 27 new products we released at NAB in April:
