Phase One has released an updated version of its Capture One application which includes support for more Micro Four Thirds digital cameras, among other changes.

Available in standard, DB and PRO versions, Phase One's Capture One 5.01 update includes a number of bug fixes and enhancements. It also adds support for the Olympus E-P2, and Panasonic DMC-G1, DMC-GH1 and DMC-GF1 digital camera bodies.

The complete list of changes courtesy of Phase One is as follows:

  • Meta data Improved to Include/Preserve GPS data

  • EIP improvement (LCC issue resolved)

  • Fixed an issue where Profiles with a “.” in the name crashed

  • New Keyboard Shortcuts added

  • Support for processors without SSE2 support (AMD, Pentium III)

  • Memory handling issues improved

  • Swapping from trial PRO to Regular failure to launch issue resolved.

  • Focus Tool Implimented on Windows

  • Fixed an issue if you're using "Edit primary only" and do not have a primary variant selected

  • Fixed an issue where duplicate entries of the first captured image would be created

  • Fixed an issue when deleting images

  • Fixed an issue when ejecting or mounting a removable volume (such as CF card)

  • Fixed an issue when processing without an output profile set

Pricing for Capture One 5 is set at US$129 / €99, while Capture One 5 PRO retails at US$399 / €299. Capture One is available for both Windows and Mac OS X platforms.
