Canon Japan has today released updated firmware for its EOS-1D Mark III, EOS-1Ds Mark III and EOS 5D Mark II digital SLRs, as well as for the WFT-E2 and WFT-E2A wireless file transmitters.
The new EOS-1D Mark III v1.3.0 and EOS-1Ds Mark III v1.2.0 firmware updates both add support for the just-released WFT-E2 II wireless file transmitter, as well as incorporating changes made in previous firmware versions. Canon EOS 5D Mark II v1.2.4 meanwhile adds support for the WFT-E4 II wireless file transmitter, and corrects a problem with excessive noise in continuous bulb-mode images.
Finally, the WFT-E2 / WFT-E2A firmware v2.0.0 adds support for the EOS-1D Mark IV digital SLR.
