DxO Labs has updated the Mac OS version of its photo processing application, DxO Optics Pro, to improve stability and to support a Canon PowerShot digital camera.

DxO Optics Pro v5.3.7 for Mac now supports the Canon PowerShot S90, a popular compact camera that takes much of the PowerShot G11's feature set and puts it into a more stylish, pocket-friendly body.

As well as the added Canon S90 support, DxO Optics Pro v5.3.7 for Mac is also said to improve a range of enhancements for Apple's Mac OS X 10.6 operating system, otherwise known as Snow Leopard. As well as overall stability, improvements can be found in installation and activation of the program, as well as the plug-in for Photoshop. Some stability improvements are also said to be applicable to previous versions of Apple's Mac OS operating system.

Further details can be found in the press release below.
