Launches Imagemaker Series At NAB

Hauppauge, N.Y., April 6, 2010 - (Virtual Press Office) – The Tiffen Company, a leading manufacturer of award winning accessories for the still imaging, motion picture and broadcast markets, today announced a new video series of professional cinematographers entitled “ImageMakers”, being showcased at the 2010 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

The Tiffen ImageMakers series are authentic, behind-the-scene documentaries offering peer insights and providing aspiration to enthusiasts and emerging pros, by making the professional world of cinematography a little more accessible. This will be the first in a series of videos produced by Tiffen.

The first series features accomplished industry leaders such as: Garrett Brown, ASC; Sol Negrin, ASC; Shane Hurlbut, ASC; Michael Negrin, ASC; and Jon Fauer, ASC. The series provides an insight on how they began their careers, what motivates them, their techniques, and using the right tools to capture their images.

In addition to Brown, Hurlbut and Fauer, speaking and demonstrating at the Tiffen Booth #C8818, Tom Robotham, DP and inventor of the Lowel Blender; Carey Duffy, Technical Director (Filters) Tiffen International; Brady Harris, Lowel Set Lighting Technician for Tiffen; and David Morgasen, award-winning Director of viral videos will also be presenting.

The Image Makers video series are expected to be a great platform to help educate and advance the techniques and understanding of this craft and will be available on the Tiffen website at: http://www.tiffen.com shortly.
