Scanner Review: CanoScan 8800F

Canon's compact flatbed film scanner is only $200 but has the specs to run with the big boys. We liked the software better than most for its user-friendliness but it still lacks a couple of key features.
We compare it to the recently reviewed Epson V600 and to multifunction devices with film scanning like the Canon MP980. We also compare Canon's ScanGear software to VueScan as we scan prints, color negatives, 120 film and Kodachrome slides.
