Hoya Corp. has released updated firmware for several of its 2006 and 2008 model year digital SLRs on its global website.

The new firmware is applicable to four models -- the Pentax K10D/a>, Pentax K20D, Pentax K200D, and Pentax K2000 (also known as the Pentax K-m in some markets). In each case, there's only one change made in the new firmware, an improvement in stability when shooting with some (unspecified) SDHC memory card types.

Current firmware versions for each camera are now as follows. The Pentax K10D has reached version 1.31, while the current release for the K20D is version 1.04. The K200D now carries version 1.01, while the K2000 / K-m are now current with v1.11.

More details can be found on the Pentax global website at the links above.
