Virginia, August 4, 2010 -- The new photo-gaming site Phoozl announces its first participatory mission: Mission Blue. Introduced in the site's Missions game category, Mission Blue is a whimsical assignment challenge for photo enthusiasts to contribute and share their images that feature the color blue. Photographers submit their images via the PhoozNews blog pages and receive feedback and critiques on the site not only from Phoozl's Haraldo, but also from the mysterious Atlor from the Land of Atlantis.

"I want people to be able to start sharing and displaying their great images on Phoozl but in the context of a photo game or fun challenge," says Phoozl's co-creator Harald Johnson. "Even though Phoozl does not yet have all its functions enabled, we have early requests from photographers who want to contribute and show off their work. Eventually, we'll have seamless uploading capability."

Assignment & Theme
Azure magazine in the Land of Atlantis is seeking images containing the color blue for its next Special Edition. The more blue the better. And because Atlantis is underwater, they have appointed Phoozl's very own Haraldo as their go-between. Which makes sense considering Haraldo's many years of experience as a magazine art director (really).

"Show us your images that celebrate the color Blue in all its beauty and variations," explains Haraldo who is speaking for Atlor, the creative director of Azure magazine. "Show us the Best of the Blues!"

Categories & Deadlines
All categories of Blue are welcome (nature, landscape, people, abstract, sports, et al.) for free submission. Underwater images are accepted but not required. As time is very fluid and slow-moving in Atlantis, "Blue" is a perpetual and re-occurring theme for Azure articles. So there is no deadline; this is an open-ended Mission.

Awards & Prizes
In addition to the enormous prestige of having your images published in Azure, which is required reading of all citizens of Atlantis, the winning 5 submissions will also receive 10,000 Atlos per image (the Atlo is the legal tender of Atlantis; current conversion rates may vary), and the top submitter will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Atlantis to tour the offices of Azure magazine. Breathing equipment is your own responsibility.
