Japan's Ricoh Co. Ltd. has announced updated firmware releases for its closely related CX1, CX2 and CX3 digital cameras.

All three firmware updates include a fix for a problem shared by all three models, whereby the distortion correction function failed to operate in some circumstances. For the CX1 and CX2, an issue with dropped connections during PictBridge printing has also been resolved. For the CX3, there are fixes for blurred images shot with auto bracketing enabled, and inaccurate flash throttling when shooting using the seven megapixel 16:9 aspect ratio image resolution.

The new firmware for all three models, as well as details on how to check your camera's current firmware version and to apply the firmware update if necessary, can be found on Ricoh's website.
