With this latest addition to its popular Pro Roller™ x-Series, Lowepro brings its professional innovation to a compact and modular solution for hassle-free travel and work.

(New York, NY – PhotoPlus Expo Booth #735, October 28, 2010) – Lowepro, the leading brand of protective gear for photography equipment and portable electronics, today unveiled the latest addition to its Pro Roller x-Series of rolling camera bags: the Pro Roller Attaché x50. On display for a first-look in the company’s booth (#735) throughout PhotoPlus Expo 2010 (Jacob Javits Center, New York, NY, October 28-30, 2010).

Designed to serve the demanding needs of traveling professional photographers, the Pro Roller Attaché x50 features a two-in-one design that allows the rolling case to quickly convert to a shoulder bag. Sized to meet the standard international carry-on requirements (less than 45 linear inches / 114.3 centimeters), the Pro Roller Attaché x50 offers capacity for a pro-grade DSLR with attached lens, up to 4 additional lenses or flash units, necessary accessories and personal items, and protection for laptops with up to 14” screens.

Versatility is the hallmark of this inventive bag,” said Treg Tyler, Lowepro worldwide marketing director. “You can use it as a rolling attaché with your complete camera kit and laptop easily accessible from the front, or you can remove its Reserve Shoulder Bag and carry your complete kit like a messenger bag. Our design also allows you to turn the exterior rolling attaché into a convenient piece of luggage with ample space for a weekend’s worth of essentials,” he added.

A full set of practical features offers the working photographer convenience, ease-of-use and peace-of-mind. Dedicated laptop compartments (in front of the rolling attaché and inside the Reserve Shoulder Bag) provide padded and protective spaces for up to a 14” widescreen laptop. A retractable TelePod™ Handle is crafted of durable aluminum tubes with left-right operating buttons—a ¼”-30 threaded accessory mount turns the handle into an impromptu platform for lighting or shooting. Premium Lowepro locking zippers and replaceable wheels offer smooth and efficient operations.

The main rolling attaché is designed with a pivoting front compartment that opens like a drawer to provide quick and complete access to gear .when fully opened. A collapsible interior tray holds the Reserve Shoulder Bag in place within the rolling attaché it collapses down for use as luggage space when the shoulder bag is removed.

Inside the Reserve Shoulder Bag, the protective camera organization system offers fully padded dividers that let a photographer customize his or her kit to suit a variety of shooting situations.

Additional features include: a hideaway foot bar to provide stability while working out of the main rolling attaché; a mesh-covered trolley sleeve on the Reserve Shoulder Bag that slides onto the attaché handle for easy transport (also may be used with other luggage trolley handles); a see-through luggage/business card pocket; and multiple storage pockets on the interior and exterior of both bags.

The Pro Roller Attaché x50 is available in Black and is part of the Pro Roller x-Series of rolling camera cases.
